How we work

Culture, straight

We work async-first. That means decisions get written down, context lives in documents, and we do not require everyone to be online at the same moment to make progress. If you do your best thinking between 11pm and 2am, that works here. If you need a quiet morning before you engage with anyone, that works too. What does not work is disappearing without a trace when something is unfinished.

We ship fast. Not carelessly — fast. There is a difference. We write code that can be read. We design flows that can be explained. We cut scope before we cut quality. When we disagree about a decision, we say so directly, we make the case, and then we move. Prolonged ambiguity costs more than a wrong call that can be reversed.

We care deeply about the problem. This is not a platform for planning birthday parties in Shoreditch. It is infrastructure for some of the most significant events in people's lives — funerals, weddings, naming ceremonies, moments that families will remember for generations. That weight is part of the job. We hold it seriously.

We are building in public. You will see what we are working on, what we are struggling with, and what we got wrong last week. In return, we expect you to show up with strong opinions and genuine engagement. Silence and compliance are not what we are looking for.
