Does PLVN work for funerals and one-week observances?
Yes. Funerals are one of the three event types we built first, with day-of mode supporting multi-stop programs (church, gravesite, reception) and a "no-RSVP, just-attend" mode for community-style observances.
Are vendors verified, or is this another marketplace where anyone can list?
Every vendor is verified by our team — business registration, three completed events on PLVN, and a phone interview. We turn down about 60% of applicants. Browsing is free; the planner pays nothing extra to message or book.
Can my partner / family see what I'm planning without a separate account?
Share a view-only link or invite collaborators by phone number. They see live progress, can comment on tasks, and approve specific items (like the menu) without seeing the budget.
What if my event is in three weeks and I just want a quick checklist?
Pick the event type, drop the date, and PLVN compresses the timeline to your runway. We'll flag the must-do, the can-skip, and which vendors typically have last-minute availability in your city.
Can I export everything if I stop using PLVN?
Always. Guest list, budget, vendor contracts, and timeline export to PDF and CSV. Your data is yours — including for thirty days after your event ends, free.
